Nice!
Oh the days when I used FLStudio.....
I enjoyed this very much. I could tell it was supposed to be a sad or depressing song from the start. Very good job expressing the emotion of the song.

Thanks! I really appreciate your feedback. You're the first comment I've ever gotten on Newgrounds. ^_^
Very beautiful...
Definately has promise. Keep working on it.
I heard a few spots where you must've hit the wrong key, but I only counted 2.
I'd recommend a ribbon mic on a boomstand above the piano (position above the piano depends on what kind - ie miniature grand or bookshelf piano), plus it being in a room with minimal reverb. Plus, I'd recommend mastering the volume a bit because it gets loud & distorts very badly at the parts where you're pushing the emotion of the song. The melody, however, is very beautiful as I said, and I look forward to hearing the rest.
4/5 and 9/10.....until I hear the finished piece ; )
Thank you for your constructive comments!
My church has this truly epic baby grand that I'm planning on playing the next recording version on. It sounds fantastic in the sanctuary. As for the ribbon mic, i might have to just make do with my laptop sitting at my side because i don't know if I'll be able to set up a mic for my own personal usage, since I'm already pushing the envelope by using the piano without permission.
And yes, i messed up two or three times. That'll get ironed out and go away in the next version. Thanks again for listening and for your comments! I truly appreciate them!
Verah Verah Noice! :D
Definately a good piece! I agree with dgple before me, sounds very realistic! Well composed, the sections of the song are pretty well defined, and everything sounds great!
PS: Where did you get the Eastwest Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra?! I need a hook up! Puleeeaaaasssseeee!!!! T.T
I bought it online (soundsonline.com)
Vera vera nass!
I definitely liked the progression of this song. It almost makes me want to play....Starcraft....it makes me want to play while listening to this song, and PWN some n00bs!
5/5
10/10
I thought it was a little awkward at first because it's sad and slow at the beginning, but then it jumps right into party mode. It grew on me very quickly and I was hoping the same for everyone else :P
Thanks for the review!
I definately like it, but....
...the kick is just a BIT too strong for my taste. My eardrums feel like they got assaulted by massive amounts of bass because of those kicks. Other than that, I loved it!
4/5
9/10
dam its always the kick... anyways thanks for voting fairly and the review lol.
MAYBE I WAS TRYING TO MAKE THE BADGERS DANCE lol no jk.
XenoxX
It's pretty good but...
...it needs some serious mastering done to it. The bassline and the kick drum almost meld together because they're a little TOO present. I could barely tell the difference between the bassline & the kick. Other than that, I definitely liked it.
I need to redo this song. This was back when I was still understanding alot of stuff. Ton of work is needed.
Verah verah naas! :D
Definately a good piano riff there bud! However, I do agree that the bass is coming in just a "little" too strong. I had my bass vibration headphones on and I thought my brains were going to turn into mush! LOL! Also, it doesn't quite loop all that well. The tempo difference of the ending part of the loop is slightly different from the beginning.
Aside from that, nicely done.
PS: Check out some of my music if you're willing. Thanks again! :)
LOL! The bass line is obnoxiously loud without the vibrating headphones. I imagine it became pretty overpowering with the headphones. As far as the ending, that was a mistake on my part. I had gotten lazy by the end of it and didn't bother to change the ending tempo. Too late to fix it now, though.
Thanks for the review! I'll check out your music. :)

Nice! Vera-vera nass! :D
This sounds awesome! Kinda reminds me of something from Warcraft III. Very well done! I'd love to know what you use to compose this music cause it sounds incredible. You should check out some of my stuff...
I use Cubase 4 to sequence my music, and use EWQLSO Gold for my orchestral sounds.
Glad you like it!
